Welcome to Broadalbin-Perth Middle School

In keeping with the district’s mission, the faculty, staff, and students approach all aspects of the educational experience at B-P Middle School with the mindset that they are “striving toward excellence.” For grades 6-8, the focus is on preparing students to be ready for college and careers while fostering in them a sense of community and hometown pride.

B-P Middle School provides a rigorous academic program in a student-driven environment where students are encouraged to set their own learning targets, enabling them to persevere on their own paths to graduation.

B-P Middle School offers a variety of clubs and sports programs to help students form strong school connections, appeal to many interests, and encourage students to engage in new experiences.

Bell Schedule

B-P Middle School uses the following schedule:

  • Homeroom — 7:30–7:36 a.m.
  • Period 1 — 7:36-8:19 a.m.
  • Period 2 — 8:22-9:05 a.m.
  • Period 3 — 9:08-9:51 a.m.
  • Period 4A
    • 6th Grade Lunch — 9:54-10:14 a.m.
    • 7th/8th Grade Class — 9:54-10:37 a.m.
  • Period 4B
    • 7th/8th Grade Lunch — 10:40-11 a.m.
    • 6th Grade Class — 10:17-11 a.m.
  • Period 5 — 11:03-11:46 a.m.
  • Period 6 — 11:49-12:32 p.m.
  • Period 7 (Thrive Time) — 12:35-1:18 p.m.
  • Period 8 — 1:21-2:05 p.m.
  • After School:  2:05-2:25 p.m.
